This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Confirm Mortgage Inc. and its related companies (“Company”) collect, use and share personal information of consumer users of this website, https://confirm.mortgage, and websites that redirect to such sites from other domain names (the “Site”). This Policy also applies to any of our other websites that post this Policy. This Policy does not apply to websites that post different statements.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We get information about you in a range of ways.

Information You Give Us. We collect your‎ name, postal address, email address, phone number, fax number, username, password, demographic information (such as your gender and occupation, date of birth, income, employment status, name of employer, marital status, credit score and borrowing information), as well as other information you directly give us on our Site.

You may be asked to voluntarily give your personal information to us when you interact, orally, in writing or by electronic transmission, with us, including when you apply for an account or membership, subscribe to a newsletter, register to receive information, apply or register for, or order, a product or service offered or provided by us. In those circumstances, you can choose not to provide certain requested personal information, but then you might not be able to proceed with your intended interaction or transaction with us or companies associated with us, or otherwise receive the full benefit of the desired product or service. Telephone calls between you and us may be recorded to ensure accuracy and quality assurance, and may be disclosed to third parties to verify that we are compliant with our contractual and other obligations to third parties. You can choose not to have the telephone call recorded, and communicate by writing or electronic transmission.

Information We Get From Others. We may get information about you from other sources. We may add this to information we get from this Site. This information may include, but not be limited to the following information:

Credit Reports: When you apply or register for, order or use certain products or services from us or companies we are associated with, we may obtain, and continue to periodically obtain, your credit score and related information from a credit reporting agency to process or fulfill the transaction, and to update your confidential profile for use us for purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy. Upon your request we will inform you if we have ordered such a report or reports, and will give you the name and address of the credit reporting agency that furnished the report or reports.

You also acknowledge and agree that any lenders, financial institutions, brokers, or other organizations to which we have disclosed your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, may request a credit report for any legitimate purpose associated with your application for credit, extending credit, modifying the terms of your credit agreement, collection on your account, or similar services or products.

Bank Information: When you use the bank account information verification system (“Bank Information Verification System”) from within our Site, we may, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, retrieve your bank account information, including your transaction history (but not your bank account log-in credentials) for purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy. We may use the Bank Information Verification System to periodically obtain your updated bank account information in order to update your confidential profile for use as set out in this Privacy Policy. You acknowledge and agree that we may periodically retrieve your bank account information and disclose the bank account information to independent businesses, including our suppliers or service providers, for purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Information Regarding Referred Parties and Transactions. If we refer you to a third party for a proposed transaction, then we may collect from those third parties information regarding the transaction to update your profile for our use as set out in this Privacy Policy. 

Information Automatically Collected. We automatically log information about you and your computer. For example, when visiting our Site, we log your computer operating system type, browser type, device type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times, the time and date of your visit, other related and information about your use of and actions on our Site.

Cookies, Etc. We may log information using “cookies.” Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Site. Third-Party Advertising. These third parties may use cookies, pixels or tokens and similar methods to those we describe above and use, to display ads based on the computer’s past access to our Site. We have no control over, or responsibility or liability for, the use, disclosure or retention of your personal information by the agencies, independent organizations or other persons to whom we disclose the information in the foregoing circumstances, and the use, disclosure and retention of the disclosed information by those agencies, independent organizations or other persons is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. We may change this privacy policy by posting a new version on our Site, which will become effective and shall apply to your personal information as soon as it is so posted. ENGLISH LANGUAGE: You and we have each expressly requested and required that this Privacy Policy and all other related documents be drawn up in the English language.
